Dress Code
All persons must dress appropriately when on school property or while participating in a school activity.

Staff, students, and volunteers at TPCS are required to be neat, clean and well-groomed in overall appearance. This contributes to the positive scholarly tone of TPCS and is in keeping with the APPROPRIATE DRESS POLICY OF LDSB and the SAFE SCHOOLS INITIATIVE of the Ministry of Education and Training in the Province of Ontario. The dress code at TPCS was developed by the staff, students and School Council of The Prince Charles School and the Limestone District School Board. At TPCS this means all children should;
•     wear appropriate clothing for the weather

•     wear hemlines and shorts at least finger tip length, shoulder straps on tops at least 3 fingers wide, no low cut tops nor bare midriffs, no see through tops, no underwear showing

•     wear appropriate clothing for physical education classes (A change of clothing in gr 4 -8)

•     refrain from wearing hats or head coverings (including bandanas) inside the school building

•     refrain from wearing clothing that depicts unlawful activities or violence

•     refrain from wearing clothing depicting alcohol, cigarettes or drugs

•     refrain from wearing clothing displaying content that is offensive to any individual or group
