What's Happening at The Prince Charles School
Hello everyone! Bonjour à tous!
Last chance to get your November Hot Lunches and Halloween Milkshakes on School Day! Don't forget while you're online to get your tickets for the spookiest event of the year, Boo Bash! This Friday, details below.
More of a quiet week coming up. Some of our cross country runners will be heading to the championships at Fort Henry on WEDNESDAY, and our FI Kinders are hearing about Diwali from a parent on Monday. Also on Monday are intermediate vaccinations. Our second fire drill will take place this Friday at 9:30. November will be our first Lock Down drill, information will be shared well in advance for families. Please know that every effort will be taken to ensure that this is not a stressful experience for our students.
The cold has arrived! Make sure little ones are dressed for the weather with hats and mitts. Late fall when its not below zero, Dollar Store gloves are great, not waterproof but warm and inexpensive enough to lose a few pairs!
As always, be sure to check out all the information shared in the posters below, including details on the LDSB's Student Census.
Have a great weekend, J'espère que vous avez tous une bonne fin de semaine!

TPCS Cell Phone Policy
Cell phone use by students impacts not only the learning environment but also the safety and privacy of others. In accordance with the Limestone District School Board’s Policy as well as the Ministry of Education’s Policy, students are not to be using cell phones at school unless they are directed to do so by their teacher for instructional purposes. As a staff, we have discussed why certain students may need to use their cell phones while at school and we will make sure we connect with those students and their parents to make a plan. We also want to highlight that if there needs to be any communication between home and school during the school day, this needs to go through the main office by calling 613-354-2121.hen your child arrives at school, they will be directed to put their device in a safe container in the classroom. If your child does not follow the expectations around cell phone use, their device will be housed in the office for the day. There will not be any warnings given. Your child will be able to pick it up at the end of the day. If their device is being misused again, a parent/guardian will be asked to come pick up the cell phone. This policy extends to the use of headphones/earbuds without direct permission from a teacher. Our goal is to make the most use of class time and create an effective, focused, and respectful learning environment for all students.
LDSB Student Dress Policy
