School boards in Ontario have a duty to offer BASP in publicly-funded schools for children in Kindergarten up to Grade 6, where there is sufficient demand and/or viability. In accordance with the Education Act and regulation, school boards may directly operate before and after school programs or they may enter into an agreement with a third party.
If you have or need to have children (Kindergarten to Grade 6) enrolled in a Before and After School program, please complete this short survey to help us better understand the needs of LDSB families regarding access to BASP.
Please note, this is not a registration form to access BASP nor a guarantee that a BASP will be offered in your child’s school. Completion of this survey does not indicate any commitment on your part but rather indicates potential interest or viability for BASP in your school. Your feedback will help us to understand the need for Before and After School programs.
