First, the Prince Charles School Annual Art Showcase. Come and enjoy artwork created by all of our classes, along with a performance by our choir (see details below). Track and Field is also scheduled for Wednesday, April 28 and Thursday, April 29.Remember a week ahead and a year long calendar are available to check out below, as well as many opporutinies/reminders. Don't forget if you have little ones ready for school next year, or know people who do, make sure you go online and register soon! If your child was born in 2022, then this is your year. Here at TPCS you can register in either English or French Immersion kindergarten programs, and you don't have to live in our area to register with us. LDSB aims to accommodate families who wish to have their children attend a school out of their area. environment but also the safety and privacy of others. In accordance with the Limestone District School Board’s Policy as well as the Ministry of Education’s Policy, students are not to be using cell phones at school unless they are directed to do so by their teacher for instructional purposes. As a staff, we have discussed why certain students may need to use their cell phones while at school and we will make sure we connect with those students and their parents to make a plan. We also want to highlight that if there needs to be any communication between home and school during the school day, this needs to go through the main office by calling 613-354-2121.hen your child arrives at school, they will be directed to put their device in a safe container in the classroom. If your child does not follow the expectations around cell phone use, their device will be housed in the office for the day. There will not be any warnings given. Your child will be able to pick it up at the end of the day. If their device is being misused again, a parent/guardian will be asked to come pick up the cell phone. This policy extends to the use of headphones/earbuds without direct permission from a teacher. As we head into the last stretch of March, I want to thank families for your continued support of our school community. Next Thursday is our Colour Explosion Spirit Day—students are invited to wear bright, colourful clothing as we show our support for students with neurodiversity.Warm weather means our Lost and Found is over flowing with winter gear. Please look closely at the pictures below and if you see items belonging to your child ask them to go and get it, or stop by and ask to pick it up yourself. Items not picked up will be donated after Easter weekend.We also hope to see you at our Parent Council meeting on Thursday, April 2 at 5:30 p.m. All families are welcome to attend. environment but also the safety and privacy of others. In accordance with the Limestone District School Board’s Policy as well as the Ministry of Education’s Policy, students are not to be using cell phones at school unless they are directed to do so by their teacher for instructional purposes. As a staff, we have discussed why certain students may need to use their cell phones while at school and we will make sure we connect with those students and their parents to make a plan. We also want to highlight that if there needs to be any communication between home and school during the school day, this needs to go through the main office by calling 613-354-2121.hen your child arrives at school, they will be directed to put their device in a safe container in the classroom. If your child does not follow the expectations around cell phone use, their device will be housed in the office for the day. There will not be any warnings given. Your child will be able to pick it up at the end of the day. If their device is being misused again, a parent/guardian will be asked to come pick up the cell phone. This policy extends to the use of headphones/earbuds without direct permission from a teacher. environment but also the safety and privacy of others. In accordance with the Limestone District School Board’s Policy as well as the Ministry of Education’s Policy, students are not to be using cell phones at school unless they are directed to do so by their teacher for instructional purposes. As a staff, we have discussed why certain students may need to use their cell phones while at school and we will make sure we connect with those students and their parents to make a plan. We also want to highlight that if there needs to be any communication between home and school during the school day, this needs to go through the main office by calling 613-354-2121.hen your child arrives at school, they will be directed to put their device in a safe container in the classroom. If your child does not follow the expectations around cell phone use, their device will be housed in the office for the day. There will not be any warnings given. Your child will be able to pick it up at the end of the day. If their device is being misused again, a parent/guardian will be asked to come pick up the cell phone. This policy extends to the use of headphones/earbuds without direct permission from a teacher. environment but also the safety and privacy of others. In accordance with the Limestone District School Board’s Policy as well as the Ministry of Education’s Policy, students are not to be using cell phones at school unless they are directed to do so by their teacher for instructional purposes. As a staff, we have discussed why certain students may need to use their cell phones while at school and we will make sure we connect with those students and their parents to make a plan. We also want to highlight that if there needs to be any communication between home and school during the school day, this needs to go through the main office by calling 613-354-2121.hen your child arrives at school, they will be directed to put their device in a safe container in the classroom. If your child does not follow the expectations around cell phone use, their device will be housed in the office for the day. There will not be any warnings given. Your child will be able to pick it up at the end of the day. If their device is being misused again, a parent/guardian will be asked to come pick up the cell phone. This policy extends to the use of headphones/earbuds without direct permission from a teacher. environment but also the safety and privacy of others. In accordance with the Limestone District School Board’s Policy as well as the Ministry of Education’s Policy, students are not to be using cell phones at school unless they are directed to do so by their teacher for instructional purposes. As a staff, we have discussed why certain students may need to use their cell phones while at school and we will make sure we connect with those students and their parents to make a plan. We also want to highlight that if there needs to be any communication between home and school during the school day, this needs to go through the main office by calling 613-354-2121.hen your child arrives at school, they will be directed to put their device in a safe container in the classroom. If your child does not follow the expectations around cell phone use, their device will be housed in the office for the day. There will not be any warnings given. Your child will be able to pick it up at the end of the day. If their device is being misused again, a parent/guardian will be asked to come pick up the cell phone. This policy extends to the use of headphones/earbuds without direct permission from a teacher. March hot lunches are now available, as is the last chance to support our SAC fundraiser - Mitchell Soup! Deadline is Monday February 16th, more details below. Also grab your tickets for our SAC Family Dance this coming Friday. Cost is $5 per student, adults and under 2 free! Check out the poster below for full details.Some events to share next week, gr. 7's to Upper Canada Village, Boys A Basketball to LESSA tournament, and another visit from the Queens Junior Medics. environment but also the safety and privacy of others. In accordance with the Limestone District School Board’s Policy as well as the Ministry of Education’s Policy, students are not to be using cell phones at school unless they are directed to do so by their teacher for instructional purposes. As a staff, we have discussed why certain students may need to use their cell phones while at school and we will make sure we connect with those students and their parents to make a plan. We also want to highlight that if there needs to be any communication between home and school during the school day, this needs to go through the main office by calling 613-354-2121.hen your child arrives at school, they will be directed to put their device in a safe container in the classroom. If your child does not follow the expectations around cell phone use, their device will be housed in the office for the day. There will not be any warnings given. Your child will be able to pick it up at the end of the day. If their device is being misused again, a parent/guardian will be asked to come pick up the cell phone. This policy extends to the use of headphones/earbuds without direct permission from a teacher. Thursday is our Colour Explosion Spirit day, our Hot Lunch make up day, and also the day of our rescheduled SAC meeting. Friday Jan. 30th is a P.A. Day. Be sure to clink the link below on our calendar poster to see more events between now and the end of the year.2026/27 Kindergarten registration is now open! If your child was born in 2022, then this is your year. Here at TPCS you can register in either English or French Immersion kindergarten programs, and you don't have to live in our area to register with us. LDSB aims to accommodate families who wish to have their children attend a school out of their area. There are some conditions so call the school to hear the details. <a href="https://www.limestone.on.ca/registration" rel="noreferrer" class="editor-link">Registrations are completed on-line, follow the link to get started! </a>We are also on the look out for hockey helmets. In order for classes to go skating, they need to have hockey helmets for every student. environment but also the safety and privacy of others. In accordance with the Limestone District School Board’s Policy as well as the Ministry of Education’s Policy, students are not to be using cell phones at school unless they are directed to do so by their teacher for instructional purposes. As a staff, we have discussed why certain students may need to use their cell phones while at school and we will make sure we connect with those students and their parents to make a plan. We also want to highlight that if there needs to be any communication between home and school during the school day, this needs to go through the main office by calling 613-354-2121.hen your child arrives at school, they will be directed to put their device in a safe container in the classroom. If your child does not follow the expectations around cell phone use, their device will be housed in the office for the day. There will not be any warnings given. Your child will be able to pick it up at the end of the day. If their device is being misused again, a parent/guardian will be asked to come pick up the cell phone. This policy extends to the use of headphones/earbuds without direct permission from a teacher. The Prince Charles School Weekly Family Update January 16th

Hopefully next week we will be able to get through our first full week without an inclement weather day!If you missed it last week, our pick up and drop off procedures are listed below again this week. Please take a moment to review the information, as we want these times of day to be as safe and orderly as possible for our students and their families.Hot lunches for February are still available in School Day, as are milkshakes and our annual ski trip. Don't forget to order before the windows close!No field trips or major events next week. There is lots of information included in the posters below however. I have now included a calendar with school events until the end of June. It will be updated regularly as more events are added to our calendar. We are also on the look out for hockey helmets. In order for classes to go skating, they need to have hockey helmets for every student. If you have old helmets gathering dust we will gladly take them so we can make sure more of our classes can go on skating trips.Finally there is a collage of photos showing all the items in our lost and found. If you recognize anything, please feel free to stop by the school and pick it up, or have your child grab it at a recess break. environment but also the safety and privacy of others. In accordance with the Limestone District School Board’s Policy as well as the Ministry of Education’s Policy, students are not to be using cell phones at school unless they are directed to do so by their teacher for instructional purposes. As a staff, we have discussed why certain students may need to use their cell phones while at school and we will make sure we connect with those students and their parents to make a plan. We also want to highlight that if there needs to be any communication between home and school during the school day, this needs to go through the main office by calling 613-354-2121.hen your child arrives at school, they will be directed to put their device in a safe container in the classroom. If your child does not follow the expectations around cell phone use, their device will be housed in the office for the day. There will not be any warnings given. Your child will be able to pick it up at the end of the day. If their device is being misused again, a parent/guardian will be asked to come pick up the cell phone. This policy extends to the use of headphones/earbuds without direct permission from a teacher.
